About us......
We are...HUNTER Medics ... a team of dedicated professional outdoorsmen who run courses as varied as paediatric first aid to combat survival. Our roots are education, military, law enforcement, and safety research....and who regularly work at the sharp end - abroad and all over the UK.
For 23 years we have been involved in managing emergency aid situations. For 19 of those years we have been instructing the correct way to manage these crises. Our instructing skills are borne out of being award-winning educators and having experienced the extreme end of 'accidents' and emergencies. Some of these have been trauma situations on the road, some in winter on remote summits in blizzard conditions, and others in, arguably, safe urban environments. We have a passion for immediate care. We also believe we deliver an excellent product: our series of courses to enable you the client to be an effective emergency response to those in medical need.
Commendations from Ofsted, the professional outdoor industry (IOL), from the emergency services to award-winning safety research HUNTER Medics can produce specialist first aid and emergency training courses to enable clients from the full spectrum of business, social care, and recreation to benefit from our experience and understanding of real-world successful pre-hospital emergency treatment.
The organisation is based in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex, with links to sister initiatives in Värmland, Sweden, and Norway. The Chief Instructor is Barry Howard.
